தினம் ஒரு சட்டம் - இ.த.ச 419 - ஆள் மாறாட்டமும் அதன் தண்டனைகளும்.

  இ.த.ச 419  -   யாரவதுஆள் மாறாட்ட குற்றத்தை செய்ந்தாலும் அவருக்கு மூன்று வருடங்கள் வரை சிறைக்காவல் அல்லது அபராதம் அல்லது இரண்டும் தண்டனையாக விதிக்கப்படும்.

Section 419- Punishment for cheating by personation

        Whoever cheats by personation shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.

  இ.த.ச 420 - 

     யாரவது ஒருவரை வஞ்சித்து ஏமாற்று அதன் மூலம் நேர்மையின்றி அவரைத் தூண்டி ஒரு சொத்தைப் பிறருக்குக் கொடுக்கும் படி செய்ந்தாலும் 

அல்லது 

   மதிப்புள்ள காப்பிட்டை உருவாக்கும்படி அல்லது மாற்றும் படி அல்லது அழிக்கும்படி செய்ந்தாலும் அல்லது போலியாக ஒரு காப்பீடு மதிப்புள்ளதாக கையேழுத்திடப்பட்டு, முத்திரையிட்டுப் பயன்படுத்தத்பட்டு அதன் மூலம் லாபத்தைப் பெற்றாலும் குற்றமாகும்.

      இந்தக் குற்றத்திற்கு ஏழு ஆண்டுகள் வரை சிறைக்காவலுடன் அபராதமும் சேர்த்து தண்டனையாக விதிக்கப்படும்.

Section 420- Cheating and dishonestly inducing

 delivery of property

     

     Whoever cheats and thereby dishonestly induces the person deceived any property to any person, or to make, alter or destroy the whole or any part of a valuable security, or anything which is signed or sealed, and which is capable of being converted into a valuable security, 

   shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.
