யாராவது, போலி நாணயங்களை வெளிநாடுகளுக்கு ஏற்றுமதி செய்வதும் அல்லது இந்தியாவிற்கு இறக்குமதி செய்வதும் குற்றமாகும்.
இந்தக் குற்றத்திற்கு மூன்று ஆண்டுகள் வரை சிறைக்காவலுடன் அபராதமும் தண்டனையாக வழங்கப்படும்.
Section
237-
Import or export of counterfeit coin
Whoever imports into *[India],or exports
there from, any counterfeit coin, knowing or having reason to believe
that the same is counterfeit, shall be punished with imprisonment of
either description for a term which may extend to three years and shall
also be liable to fine.

இந்தக் குற்றத்திற்கு ஆயுள் தண்டனை அல்லது பத்து ஆண்டுகள் வரை சிறைக்காவலுடன் அபராதமும் தண்டனையாக வழங்கப்படும்.
யாராவது, போலி இந்திய நாணயங்களை வெளிநாடுகளுக்கு ஏற்றுமதி செய்வதும் அல்லது இந்தியாவிற்கு இறக்குமதி செய்வதும் குற்றமாகும்.

Import or export of counterfeits of the India coin
Whoever imports into 1[India], or exports
there from any counterfeit coin, which he knows or has reason to believe
to be a counterfeit of 2[India coin], shall be punished with
imprisonment with 3[imprisonment for life], or with imprisonment of
either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall
also be liable to fine.
