இ.த.ச 339 முதல் 348 வரை முறையற்ற தடுப்பும் முறையற்ற சிறைவைப்பும். 


தினம் ஓரு சட்டம் - இ.த.ச 346 

       முறையற்றுச் சிறை வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் ஒரு நபரைப் பற்றிய விவரம், அந்த நபரின் மீது அக்கறையுள்ள வேறு யாருக்கும் தெரியக்கூடாது அல்லது பொது ஊழியருக்குத் தெரியக்கூடாது என்ற கருத்துடன் அல்லது அந்த நபரை முறையற்றுச் சிறை வைத்திருக்கும் இடம். அந்த நபரிடம் அக்கறையுள்ள பிறருக்கு அல்லது அரசாங்க அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் தெரியக்கூடாது என்ற கருத்துடன் ரகசியமாகச் சிறை வைத்திருக்கும் நபருக்கும்,  

      இதற்கு முன் கூறப்பட்ட பிரிவு 344, 345 பிரிவுகளின் படி தண்டனை வழங்கப்படுவதுடன், அதற்கு அதிகப்படியான மேலும் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் வரை சிறைக்காவலைத் தண்டனையைாக வழங்க வேண்டும்.

346. Wrongful confinement in secret.

      


     —Whoever wrongfully confines any person in such manner as to indicate an intention that the confinement of such person may not be known to any person inter­ested in the person so confined, or to any public servant, or that the place of such confinement may not be known to or discov­ered by any such person or public servant as herein before men­tioned, 

     shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years in addition to any other punishment to which he may be liable for such wrongful confine­ment.
